DCFC Youth Scholarship

In partnership with Detroit City FC, Wayne State University will award five (5) DCFC Youth Club players with a scholarship of $1,500. Both Detroit City FC and Wayne State University are dedicated to creating accessibility to soccer and education, respectively. This scholarship will be accepting applications until Friday, June 27 at 5 PM.

All eligible applicants must meet these requirements:
(1) Played at least two years in a DCFC Youth Club,
(2) Is a current high school student for the 2024-2025 school year (9-12 grade).

Award distribution things to know:
(1) At the time of financial award distribution, all recipients must be enrolled at Wayne State University in order to receive the scholarship. If a student decides not to attend Wayne State University, a new scholarship recipient will be selected for that application year,
(2) Players are able to receive more than one DCFC Youth Scholarship, if they apply each year the application is available,
(3) Scholarship is to be used in the first year/first semester at Wayne State University, select exceptions may apply.
