Group Visit Request Form

Group visits are scheduled for 6 or more college-bound students, educational organizations, and other special visitors. Wayne State can accommodate group visits on select weekdays throughout the year.

    Scheduling
Group visits are available on Tuesday and Wednesday during the spring/summer semester at 10:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. Groups are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and only one tour can be hosted on available dates. We ask that you request your visit date at least two weeks in advance. We will try to accommodate your preferred date; however, you will be asked to list two additional dates.

We are only taking requests for dates after May 30, 2023. Please note that this is only a request form; group visits should not be considered confirmed until email confirmation is provided by the Campus Visit Team.

    Guest Count
We can accommodate groups of up to 40 guests total (including students and chaperones) for a tour on campus.

    Chaperone Requirement
Groups visiting in person are required to provide one adult chaperone for every 15 students. Chaperones must accompany the group on the walking campus tour and are expected to monitor the behavior of each guest during the entire campus visit. Should a group arrive without adequate chaperones, the campus tour will be cancelled.

    Lunch Options

While the Office of Admissions does not provide meals for group visits, there are great dining options at Wayne State University:

    • Groups can purchase lunch vouchers at one of dining halls. Vouchers are approximately $10 per person. Contact Catering directly at catering@wayne.edu or create an account at wayne.catertrax.com.
    • Groups can purchase lunch individually in the Student Center Building with credit or debit card (WSU is cashless). Visit wayne.campusdish.com to view options.

    Cancellation Notice
Please provide at least 48 hour notice when canceling a group visit. You can cancel by contacting 313-577-9502 or emailing campusvisit@wayne.edu.
